About Me
Hi there! I'm Gavin Barron a 29 year old software developer. Formerly I worked for an IT services company called
Intergen.
Right now I'm taking a wee break from the professional work of software development and working on a ski resort in Canada called
Lake Louise.
However I am still doing a little work and will still be blogging.
I'm passionate about the field of software development.
Once upon a time I was a J2EE developer and I saw the light / turned to the darkside / jumped the fence and moved to the .NET world where I'm now firmly entrenched.
You'll see that most of my blog postings are SharePoint centric, that is due to working in the space and loving it!
Despite that I do like to try and keep abreast of wider happenings in the Microsoft and .NET world.
Highlights of my career thus far:
Outside of work I love to ski. I also play football, soccer if you weren't sure which sort of football, and dabble in mountain biking.
